Traveling Art Exhibition from Mexico PDF Print E-mail

Kentucky Institute for International Studies is pleased to announce the arrival of  "The Women of Michoacån: Art and Artists", an exhibition by Mexican artists, sponsored by KIIS and the Ministry of Culture of Michoacån.

 

"The Women of Michoacån: Art and Artists" features the work of female artists and an artist whose artwork represents images of women in Mexico, primarily indigenous women of Michoacån. The exhibition consists of 50 pieces, representing a variety of media--photography, painting, ceramics and metalwork.
